Learn how to paint in oils through a friendly yet comprehensive introduction to traditional oil painting. Across three five-hour sessions, you’ll become comfortable with your materials, learn how to mix tone and colour, and be guided through essential oil painting techniques using safe, low-toxic methods. All materials are supplied and included in the course fee.

This short course is designed to give you everything you need to paint with confidence. No prior experience is required, though some basic observational drawing skills may be helpful. Complete beginners are warmly welcomed, as are those looking to refresh or deepen existing skills. For those who have attended workshops with Seirian in the past, the course also introduces fresh content and additional approaches.
